Position Details:
--- Position: Project Manager
--- Location: Houston; Dallas
--- Travel: Most of your travel will be local but you might have
occasional overnights while visiting customer project sites. Most
of these sites would be within a couple of hours from Houston or
Dallas
--- Shift: This is a normal day shift role that would require some
flexibility based on customer/project needs.
--- Compensation: You can realistically expect your 1st year total
compensation to be $98k - 126k (depending on experience)
Base Salary $70,000 - 90,000
Average Bonus (paid out twice a year, 20% on Avg) $14,000 -
18,000
Average Profit Sharing (paid out annually, 20% Avg) $14,000 -
18,000
Total $98,000 - 126,000
An important component of your Total Compensation is your Bonus
Plan and Profit Sharing that currently averages 20% of your pay for
each plan (40% total!!!). Promotions provide outstanding
compensation, which is why so many former military service members

--- Benefits: Company has one of the industry's most flexible and
comprehensive health benefit programs (Medical / Dental / Vision),
which includes wellness and health care spending accounts. Profit
Sharing: each year, it takes 10% of its operating profits and
divides them up among all employees (except senior officers) -
depending on company performance, this may be anywhere from 1% to

Tuition Reimbursement: Company takes continuing education
seriously; they will reimburse up to $5,250 of your approved
educational expenses each year, and also reimburse your spouse up
to $2,625 per year for a maximum of 2 years. Additionally, Company
provides the children of every employee up to $4,000 worth of
scholarship funding each year to be used at accredited academic
institutions.

Position Description:
As a Project Manager, you will manage complex projects with
detailing teams and multiple products and vendors from estimating
to project completion. Cultivate a positive customer service
environment while maximizing profits. Your responsibilities will
include:
--- Review contract documents/drawings and coordinate detailing
efforts to ensure that we supply products and services in the
safest and most cost effective and efficient manner.
--- Provide total contract management of each project assigned,
including coordination of the detailing, scheduling, delivery and
costs of products and services utilizing the company business
system, industry standards and other company resources.
--- Oversee efforts to ensure that company fulfills contractual
obligations on the assigned project(s).
--- Coordinate project requirements with the contractor's
representative as well as with the engineer and/or architect using
Company's contract management guidelines.
--- Schedule the detailing and delivery of required products and
services with the contractor and detailing teams.
--- Review changes to the project to determine their scope, work
with the estimating team to ensure the accuracy of same, and then
process the appropriate documentation in accordance with the
company's change order procedures.
--- Assist in the change order process culminating in the
acceptance of the change order by the customer.
--- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to appropriate
staff, workers, and customers.
--- Represent the company in project meetings as needed.
--- Work with Detailing Manager to help control the financial
aspects of contracts to protect the company's interest and
simultaneously maintain a good relationship with customers.
--- Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs
and scheduling.
Minimum Qualifications:
--- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or (3)
years of experience of demonstrated construction project management
experience
--- Strong mathematical skills
--- Ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously and
manage time/meet deadlines
--- Effective leadership skills; ability to coordinate own and
others' actions
--- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service
skills necessary
--- Critical thinking skills and the ability to use applicable
tools
Preferred Qualifications:
--- Ability to apply ACI codes and CRSI standards required
--- Experience in customer relations and resolving problems or
disputes
--- A basic knowledge of contract law, standard business practices
and human relations
