    • Acute care experience, preferably med-surg
    • Flexibility with schedule
    • Meditech charting
    • Nursing skill set - NGT tubes, IV placement, foley management, etc.
      • Schedule Information
      • 13 WEEKS - 7:00P-7:00A
      • Rotating Weekends
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Profiles - an exceptional understanding of the unit including location, number of beds, patient ratios, and other unique details.
        • Number of Beds - 32
        • Number of Staff - 50
        • Type of staff: Day Shift - (1 charge, 6 nurses, 3 PCTS), Night Shift - (1 charge, 5 nurses, 2 PCTS)
        • Patient Ratios - 1:5 or 1:6 days, 1:6 or 1:7 nights
        • Type of equipment - PCAs, on-Q pumps, Hoyer lift, traction, wound vacs
        • EMR - Meditech
        • Typical procedures performed on units: Neurosurgeries (kyphoplasty, decompression, laminectomy), fracture repairs/IM nailing, general surgery, Bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve), bladder sling, hysterectomy
        • Dress Code - Scrub Color: navy blue
