Lead CT Technologist like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary
of the Lead CT TechnologistThe CT Technologist at the Freestanding
Emergency Room and Urgent Care Clinic is responsible for performing
CT procedures that are in accordance with standards and practice
set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and
Hospital Policies and Procedures. Optimizes the use of radiation by
utilizing the concepts of Image Gently and Image Wisely by the
American College of Radiology. The CT Technologist demonstrates
knowledge of the human structure and functions, patient
care/safety, positioning, principles of radiographic sciences,
radiation protection, medication safety (contrast) and specialized
techniques. Maintains professional judgment and conduct that is
complimentary of the ARRT Code of Ethics and St. David's Healthcare
Values. Qualifications of the Lead CT TechnologistEDUCATION:
- Graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in
Radiologic Technology
- Completion of CT curriculum covering 3 semester hours of
Sectional Anatomy or 16 hours post graduate CEU's of
Cross-Sectional AnatomyEXPERIENCE:
- Two years of experience performing Computed Tomography
procedures is preferredLICENSED/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
- Certified by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical
Radiologic Technologist
- Certified in Radiology and CT by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists American Registry of Radiologic Technology
(ARRT, RTR, CT)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of
